£30,000 - £50,000 per annum, depending on experience

Our client, a multi disciplinary architectural practice, are currently looking for an Architect to join their growing team. Based in West Newcastle, this role will require some office working however can be done on a hybrid basis.

This role will provide a fantastic opportunity for an Architect looking to join a growing team. With flexibility on the level of role, they are open to speaking with Architectural Technologists, Senior Architects looking to develop into a leadership role or a Design Manager with demonstrable leadership experience.

The Architect Role

As Architect, you will be instrumental in developing project concepts and executing designs that resonate with clients and communities alike. The position calls for involvement in all stages of the design process, from initial sketches to the final touches of construction documentation, ensuring a hands-on experience with diverse projects.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project objectives are met.
  • Utilise advanced design software to prepare detailed drawings and presentations.
  • Engage with clients to refine design requirements and deliver bespoke solutions.
  • Conduct site visits and assessments to inform design decisions.

About You

As Architect, you will ideally be a chartered professional (MICE, MIStruct, MRICS, MCIOB, MCIAT, ARB, RIBA) with experience working in a multi disciplined role.

Other requirements include:

  • Ideally possess leadership experience in multi disciplined teams however this can be developed
  • Must be Revit proficient
  • Excellent personal skills with the ability to communicate at all levels
  • Demonstrable experience managing multiple fast paced projects
  • Proficient in contract administration
  • Strong construction knowledge
