The Role – Assistant Accountant
In this varied and hands-on role, the Assistant Accountant will support core finance activities including:

Assisting in weekly and monthly management accounts preparation

Managing the sales ledger and supporting credit control
-
Completing balance sheet reconciliations
-
Handling accruals, prepayments and fixed asset processes
-
Performing daily and monthly bank reconciliations
-
Posting journals and daily bank receipts
-
Preparing quarterly VAT returns
-
Supporting internal and external audits
-
Contributing to ad-hoc finance projects as needed
About You
We’re looking for an Assistant Accountant who brings:

Strong numerical and analytical skills

Excellent attention to detail
-
AAT Qualified
-
A solid understanding of accounting principles

Proficiency using Excel and accounting systems
