This Electrical Technician role is a fantastic opportunity to be able to work with a successful engineering business on a permanent basis.
The Electrical Technician will report to the Line Manager/Team Leader and will be working within a multi-disciplinary team.
Responsibilities:

Installing key electrical components during building and assembly, checking the parts for suitability against drawings.

Assembling electrical systems for specific company contracts while liaising with the Team Lead to ensure all parts are available for build.

Carrying out controlled testing of systems to test procedures, including documenting results.

Modifying and upgrading electrical equipment as necessary and ensuring drawings are marked up for subsequent revision under instruction from the project team.

Carrying out pre-commissioning checks of any electrical system.

Inspecting and testing equipment to FAT procedures. Documenting results.
-
Working Offshore on hire or commissioning projects, supervising any cable operating staff.
