Our client is seeking a highly experienced Engineering Manager to lead their team of Engineers and Design Engineers. This is a pivotal role where you will have the opportunity to influence strategy and drive the business forward.
You will be responsible for developing and implementing engineering strategies, ensuring that the engineering team is equipped with the resources they need to complete their tasks. You will also be required to provide technical direction to the team and ensure that engineering standards are maintained.
As Engineering Manager, you will lead teams within Design, Manufacturing Engineering and Maintenance, while providing expert engineering advice to manufacturing and technicians. You will also be responsible for establishing engineering budgets, monitoring the cost-effectiveness and reliability of engineering activities, and coordinating New Product Introduction and Engineering Change Management.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in engineering and a proven track record of successful engineering projects. An understanding of 3D CAD and production of working drawings will also be required. A degree in an Engineering or Science related discipline is also necessary.
