Job Title: Logistics Administrator
Location: Durham Road, Birtley, Chester‑le‑Street, DH3 2QX
Hours: Full‑time, 8:00–17:00
Salary: £13 per hour (negotiable depending on experience)
Contract: 3‑month fixed term

Our client is seeking a Logistics Administrator to support its busy on‑site logistics and supply chain operation.
This role is ideal for someone organised, accurate, and confident working in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment. An immediate start is available.

Key Responsibilities
The Logistics Administrator will be responsible for providing day‑to‑day administrative and operational support, including:
- Managing daily logistics and import‑related tasks within the customer manufacturing site
- Monitoring shortages, backorders, and stock requirements
- Supporting the preparation and processing of purchase orders
- Handling incoming phone calls and providing administrative assistance relating to on‑site shortages
- Supporting general office and warehouse coordination as required
Essential Skills & Experience
As Logistics Administrator, you will have the following:
- Good communication skills
- Confident with basic PC tools, including Excel and Outlook
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work accurately in a high‑volume administrative environment
Desirable Skills
- Experience in logistics, supply chain, accounting support, or import/export operations
- Previous exposure to SAP or other ERP systems
- Strong Excel skills
