Management Accountant
3 Month (Minimum) Contract

💼 £42,000 – £55,000 (pro rata)
We are working with a well-established international organisation with a strong presence in the Northeast, seeking an experienced Management Accountant to join their finance team on an initial 3-month contract.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a dynamic, commercially focused environment, supporting key financial processes and delivering high-quality insights to stakeholders.
The Role

Reporting into senior finance leadership, you will take ownership of core management accounting activities, including:

Production of monthly management accounts with commentary

Variance analysis and performance reporting

Budgeting and forecasting support

Business partnering with operational stakeholders

Balance sheet reconciliations and ledger reviews
-
Supporting continuous improvement across finance processes and systems
About You

We’re looking for a proactive and detail-oriented finance professional who can hit the ground running:

Qualified (ACCA, CIMA, ACA) or qualified by experience

Strong experience in management accounting within a commercial environment

Advanced Excel skills (essential)

Experience with reporting tools such as Power BI (highly desirable)

Exposure to ERP systems (experience with niche/less common systems beneficial)

Ability to work independently and communicate effectively across departments
