Our client is a group of businesses focused on developing cleantech and renewable technologies across a range of industries including hydrogen, wind, nuclear and energy storage. This is a group that is passionate about helping the world meet its Net Zero targets. They are currently looking for a Marketing Associate to join their office based in Stockton on Tees on a permanent basis.
This role provides the opportunity to make a real contribution to the mission of our client and would suit a highly motivated and creative individual who is passionate about clean energy and the environment. This position offers a hybrid working pattern, allowing for a combination of remote and in-office working.
The Role
Reporting directly into the Chief Operating Officer, the Marketing Associate will primarily focus on social media management, brand awareness, and content creation and will offer the opportunity to work on diverse marketing projects across the group of companies.
Other responsibilities will include:

Develop and execute social media strategies to increase brand visibility and engagement across various platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, and YouTube.

Create and curate compelling content including posts, articles, images, and videos.

Collaborate closely with the COO and other stakeholders to understand the marketing needs of the group of companies and develop appropriate marketing strategies.

Conduct market research to identify trends, competitive insights, and opportunities for brand positioning.

Assist in the planning and execution of marketing campaigns, events, and promotions.

Measure and analyse key performance indicators (KPIs)

About You
You will be an experienced Marketing Associate or Marketing Assistant with a Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience). You must also possess a strong passion for social media, digital marketing, and content creation. Above all, the ideal candidate will have a creative mindset with the ability to think outside the box and generate innovative ideas.
Other requirements include:

Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to craft engaging content tailored for different platforms.

Proficient in using social media management tools and analytics platforms to track and measure campaign performance.

Familiarity with graphic design tools such as Adobe Photoshop or Canva is a plus.
