Role Overview
The successful Mechanical Design Engineer will be responsible for concept generation, detailed design, and product improvement. This Mechanical Design Engineer will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality engineering solutions on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop mechanical components and assemblies
- Produce 3D CAD models and technical drawings
- Support prototyping, testing, and validation activities
- Collaborate with manufacturing and quality teams
- Identify and implement design improvements
- Ensure compliance with relevant standards and specifications
Requirements
- Degree-qualified in Mechanical Engineering or similar
- Proven experience in a Mechanical Design Engineer position
- Proficiency in 3D CAD software (e.g. SolidWorks, Inventor)
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes and materials
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
