This Mechanical Technician role is a fantastic opportunity to be able to work with a successful engineering business. Your role will be responsible for the efficient and precise assembly of new mechanical equipment and machinery. 
 
Your expertise in interpreting technical drawings and following assembly procedures will ensure that the equipment is built to the highest quality standards, adhering to safety guidelines and manufacturer specifications.  
 
Other Requirements for the Mechanical Technician include: 
  • Equipment Assembly: Read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and assembly instructions to accurately assemble new mechanical equipment and machinery.  
  • Parts Inspection: Inspect and verify the quality and correctness of components and parts before assembly to ensure proper fit and functionality.  
  • Precise Installation: Use hand tools, power tools, and specialised equipment to carefully install mechanical components, ensuring they are aligned correctly and securely fastened.  
  • Quality Assurance: Perform rigorous quality checks during and after assembly to identify and rectify any defects or discrepancies, ensuring the final product meets quality standards.  
 
About you: 
  • Proven experience in mechanical equipment assembly, preferably in a workshop or manufacturing environment.  
  • Strong ability to interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and assembly instructions.  
  • Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and specialised equipment for mechanical assembly.  
  • Attention to detail and precision in work to ensure accurate assembly and proper alignment of components. 
  • Knowledge of quality control processes and the ability to perform thorough inspections.

Your working week will be: 
Monday to Thursday: 7.30am – 4pm 
Friday: 7.30am – 1pm
