Our client is a successful software and web development company based in Tyne & Wear. They are currently looking to expand their team with the creation of an Outbound Sales Executive on a permanent basis.

 

About the Role

This role will be a pivotal part of the business responsible for identifying opportunities, performing research into new markets, building relationships with new clients and generating leads.

 

Main Responsibilities

  • Research organisations to establish potential prospects
  • Finding new business opportunities by listening to clients and asking open questions to identify pain points
  • Identify key buying influencers within these prospects to determine project, budget and timeline
  • Marketing and event assistance
  • Maintain and update sales database
  • Profiling potential prospects via a predetermined criteria
  • Penetration of new markets in the UK via targeted campaigns
  • Working with the Senior Management Team to identify sales prospects and improve marketing and sales processes/conversion rates

About you

You will be a highly experienced Sales professional with a proven track record of prospecting, qualifying and generating sales leads.

Ideally you will:

  • Have at least 18 months – 2 years experience in a lead generating role
  • Be a strong relationship builder
  • Be a motivated self starter who is solutions focussed
  • Have excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience within software or IT sectors is preferred but not essential
