About the Principle Electrical & Controls Design Engineer Role
The Principle Electrical & Controls Design Engineer will provide authority to the delivery of solutions for commercially successful products. You will provide authority for the electrical/electronic and embedded applications design of all products that are manufactured.
Other requirements will include:

Monitor, guide and mentor apprentices, technicians and engineers to assist in the delivery of electrical/electronic and embedded applications designs

Ensure that defined “minimum requirements” and “appropriate practices” for electrical/electronic and embedded applications design processes/standards to ensure design is integrated, lean, effective, works collaboratively with all disciplines and has the highest probability of right 1st time

Provide support at bid and concept development stage to ensure mechanical design challenges and risks are understood and accounted for
-
As part of the management team of the Design function, champion, guide and develop the department’s continuous improvement, outputs, interactions and growth
About You
As Principal Electrical & Controls Design Engineer, you will be a Chartered Engineer, (or actively working towards this) with demonstrable experience in leading and delivering a range of electrical/electronic/embedded applications products/systems/solutions in a position of authority.
