About the Project Manager Role
As Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading, motivating and developing teams across the business to achieve business goals. You will be developing and maintaining relationships with a wide range of clients ensuring that their projects are delivered on time and to budget.
Other responsibilities will include:

Planning machine loading within cells to maximise output while reducing change over conflicts.

Working closely with PED/external suppliers to reduce cycle times.

Delivering purchase order requirements while minimising business risks and costs.

Arranging and attending various meetings, some which may involve visiting the customer’s site.

Managing creation, submission and maintenance of project plans.

Enhancing profitability through effective management of production costs, ensuring budgets are achieved.
About You:
As the Project Manager, you will have strong communication skills with the ability to develop and maintain good working relationships with customers and colleagues.
Other requirements include:

Experience of strategic planning, able to ensure customer deadlines are met.

Significant experience and understanding of the manufacturing industry and in particular the machine shop environment.

Ability to provide strong leadership and guidance to a team.

Candidates should hold a full UK driving licence.
