We are working with a well-established, growing engineering consultancy seeking a Senior Civil Engineer to join their Glasgow office. This is an excellent opportunity for a Senior Civil Engineer to take on a hands-on, project-leading role within a collaborative and forward-thinking business delivering high-quality engineering solutions.
The Role
As a Senior Civil Engineer, you’ll play a key role in the design and delivery of civil engineering projects across residential, commercial and industrial developments. This role suits a Senior Civil Engineer who enjoys owning projects, mentoring others, and working closely with clients and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities

Act as Project / Senior Civil Engineer on a range of developments

Lead roads and drainage design, including calculations

Coordinate planning and approvals with authorities

Prepare and review reports, designs and specifications

Carry out site inspections and monitor quality

Liaise with clients, architects, contractors and teams

Mentor junior engineers and support project delivery
What We’re Looking For
-
Experience as a Senior Civil Engineer or similar

Strong roads and drainage design background

Proficiency in PDS, WINDES or similar
-
Development project experience
-
Leadership ability and progress toward chartership
